"T-wrapped" - My newest work

I was able to incorporate my love of fiber and paper into this sculptural work on canvas. I found a lot of joy in the discovery as I interwove and twisted the media together. Now I want to do even more.

 

My name is Cheryl McCardle and I invite you to discover my world of  "Textured Abstract Meditation Paintings."

 

I create richly textured abstract paintings in hopes they will help others relax, meditate and experience the joys of color. Painting  becomes a meditative process for me and my emotions speak through my work.

 

Art has always been my passion. Whether it’s painting on canvas, wood or any surface that I can transform with color, I am happy to provide a variety of art services. I take painting commissions in acrylics, oils and mixed media.

Career

I love spending time in my studio, especially when I'm painting. It gives me great joy to share my creativity and knowledge of art with others when teaching my classes.

I have had many great experiences related to my love of art. In 2008, I was chosen to paint an ornament to be displayed on the White House Christmas Tree.

I have been teaching & exhibiting art for around 20 years.
